Is Real Tours only focused on a specific area or region?
For Season 1, we are covering the whole Greater Vancouver Area (”GVA”), including at least one Episode in Whistler.
Will my brokerage team be involved in the production?
Only the Cast will be involved in production, but we think there are some interesting angles to explore with brokerage teams, so let’s have a conversation about that.
Will I be able to share the content once it’s released?
We hope you do. You’ll be able to use any of the elements from your Episode. We will co-ordinate closely with you and your team to maximize and magnify content density.
How early do I need to film with REW (based on the release dates)?
Our production schedule isn’t final yet, but we anticipate shooting in one big burst during July and August 2023.
Will REW be doing another round of Real Tours if I didn’t get a chance to reserve my spot in time?

How long in total will Real Tours run for?
Real Tours Season 1 is slated to run between September 2023 and March 2024 (about 7 months).
Who are the hosts of Real Tours?
We haven’t finalized the production specifications as yet.
Can we include other members of our team in the episode?

What happens if I'm not happy with the final edit?
That would be very disappointing for everyone. Production will have full creative control across the entire series. You will always have the right to refuse airing of your Episode, but it’s worth noting that you will still be required to pay the Production Fee in full.
How will you be promoting my Episodes?
A lot of this will be communicated once we wrap production, but both the Series and each individual Episode be will promoted in prime locations across REW.ca, social, web, video and PR.
How long will an Episode take to produce from start to finish?
The production process is quite complex with multiple pieces working in parallel (while others are in series). Our production teams will be busy for about 6 months.
Can I use it for my own marketing?

What is Real Tours about?
Real Tours puts one of Vancouver’s best agents in the driver’s seat as they take our host around a neighbourhood, and some great real estate. At REW, we believe that a great agent is a fundamental part of a great real estate experience.

When will production take place?
Our production schedule can only be finalized once we have our final cast together so we can’t really say for certain, but we anticipate it will be in July and August 2023.
How much does an Episode cost?
To participate in Season 1 of Real Tours, we require a total production fee of $24,000 (+tax). It’s structured as two instalments: 50% non-refundable pre-production deposit to secure participation in the Series, and the balance due before each Episode’s airdate.
Is there a payment plan?
At this stage, no. But we are looking for the best realtors in town and we won’t let cashflow be a barrier to entry, so please talk to your REW Representative.
How long will each Episode be?
We haven’t finalized any production specs as yet, so we can’t say for sure, but we want to make a proper 20-30min per Episode show.
Will the show be available to stream online?
Real Tours will premiere on REW.ca in front of millions of homeseekers. Each Episode will be a multi-channel experience with a special content offering including social, behind the scenes and other content.
What is my expected level of involvement in the Episode?
Each cast member will be needed for 1 full-day on-location shoot (the “Tour”), and 1 full-day studio shoot for interviews and promotion. We will work with each cast member to build and finalize our production schedule.
Will my chosen Episode only be featured on the neighbourhood I indicated?
During the run of Season 1 (September 2023 to March 2024), each Real Tours Episode will be promoted across multiple, exclusive touch-points on REW.ca. Once your Episode airs, it will be highlighted on REW in the neighbourhood, and in The Guide, permanently.
How long can I expect to make room in my schedule for filming?
Each cast member will be required for two, separate full days during the production period. The first will be an on-location shoot (the “Tour”), and the second will be a studio shoot.
What happens if I don’t receive my first choice neighbourhood that I indicated?
The fairest way we could think of was to offer neighbourhood selection on a “first come, first served" basis. We are more than happy to develop an Episode around other neighbourhood for agents with a unique perspective.
